Anatomically-correct front and back plates are taken from a one piece torso, so they are proportionate when used together, even though the front plate is shorter than the back plate. These plates are meant to be snug and tied on, over the top of a cloth body. The fit may vary depending on the size of the doll, the body size and style, and how tightly the doll body is stuffed.
